PUBLIC PROCUREMENT
For the purposes of any public procurement in Zimbabwe, a procurement entity is required in terms of section 40 of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act [Chapter 22:23] to use a standard bidding document (SBD). This includes any manuals or guidelines pertaining thereto that may also be issued by the procuring entity.
An SBD is prepared with a view to forming a Framework Agreement (FA) for the provision of certain goods or services by one or more procuring entities with one or more suppliers with or without second-stage competition.
