Virtual Notary Public Services in Zimbabwe

Unfortunately, the current law in Zimbabwe does not allow for virtual notary public services. A Notary Public places a crucial role in ensuring the authenticity of legal documents, the verification of the identities of signers of documents, the witnessing of the signing of documents and administration of oaths and affirmations. Resultantly, the law as it currently applies in Zimbabwe does not allow for virtual notarization of documents. One has to physically appear before a Notary Public in Zimbabwe if he or she wants to have their documents notarized. However, this does not to necessarily mean that one has to book or schedule an appointment with a Notary Public to have his or her documents notarized, unless they have multiple documents which may require an appointment. There are numerous convenient, efficient and professional notaries in Zimbabwe who offer walk-in notary services. To prepare for an appointment for notary services in Zimbabwe it is essential that one brings their proof of identification, such as a National ID or Passport to verify that the individual who is signing documents before a Notary Public are who they say they are.
